A three-day itinerary for Sochi
Three days is enough to see the best of Sochi on one condition: do not split your stay. Pick one base and move from it - half a day lost moving luggage is a sixth of your trip.
Day 1: coast and settling in
Arrive and settle, then the Olympic district and the Adler seafront in the evening. Deliberately a light day - starting with a mountain activity straight after a flight is exhausting, especially with family.
Day 2: mountains and cable cars
A full day at Rosa Khutor. Ride the cable cars in the morning before the cloud gathers, spend the middle of the day in the mountain village and return in the evening. This is the strongest day of the trip - do not shorten it.
Day 3: nature
Sochi National Park and the waterfalls, at a relaxed pace. If the weather does not cooperate, swap in the water parks or the Olympic district museums. Keep the evening open before departure.
Frequently asked questions
Adler is the most practical: close to the airport and about an hour from the mountains. If nature and views are the priority, base yourself in the mountains instead.
Not if you want the highlights, but it does not allow staying in both the coast and the mountains. To do both, allow five days.
